Higher Levels and Learning for Specific Purposes
I. Higher Levels
If you have finished Intermediate Level books, it is time for you to enjoy working on authentic materials, books, periodicals, articles on the Internet, etc. and audio-visual work such as songs and movies.
Also you will be happy to practice speaking and writing more expressively and accurately.
In order to supplement these studies, we will help you to reinforce and further broaden your vocabulary, kanji, and knowledge on idioms and history of Japan.
For the same purpose, we often use preparation materials for JLPT (N1, N2, and sometimes N3).
The fee for a group lesson is $300 for ten 10-hour lessons. Classes or lessons meet once a week unless otherwise decided between the students and the teacher.
II. Learning for specific purposes
If you have specific purposes such as:
- Travelling
- Interview
- Tutoring for your high school or college program
- Preparation for the AP, Baccalaureate, and other exams for students
- Private Instruction for your own interest
- Conversation with in-laws who don’t speak English
we will have a meeting first.
During the meeting, we will hear about your situation, your goals and your learning history. Then we will be able to tell you what we could do for you with the estimate.

III. Preparation for JLPT (The Japanese Language Proficiency Test)
